October 16, 2010 by Denise Felton 1 Comment

Embroidery is a centuries-old art form that can be enjoyed by anyone. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced embroiderer, there are handpicked embroidery designs to try out.

We found these new designs by searching for “embroidery designs for beginners” on Google. We chose designs that were both easy to follow and stylish. We hope you enjoy trying out these new designs as much as we did!

(1) Vintage flower girl from doe-c-doe

(2) Quand l’oiseau quitte le nid from l’Opale d’Arthénice

(3) Birdie in a cage by allie-oops sweet happy life

(4) Wicked from YouCanMakeThis.com

(5) Vintage embroidery chart from a movable feast

(6) Pirate Pin-Up from Corvus tristis Her outfit has a lot of small elements, which I’m hoping will convert into a lot of enjoyable sewing.

(9) VERMONT – Red Clover from turkey feathers  This flower ranges in color from pale pink to a true red

(10) Ciao Bella! from sewlovelyembroidery.com Pretty sailor girls and Vespa riding girls.

(12) Vintage owls (three versions) from Faster Kittykill! Blog! Blog! These owls, however are a little goofy, look annoyed and in shock

(14) A small Brutus from Red Brolly

(Unfortunately, Bronwyn passed away and her blog is no longer active, and whilst we did drive traffic to her blog for some time it is now redirecting to something completely different. We have used web archive to capture her original post and original design)

(15) Helpful puppies from doe-c-doe
