Grassy stitching

I love watching the development of Susan Elliott‘s crazy-quilt blocks–works much closer to the fine art end of the spectrum than the handicraft end. She makes esoteric techniques accessible, so even pedestrian stitchers like me are willing to try. Her latest post about her emerging beach scene block introduces a couple of unusual fibers and shows how she incorporated them.
