Here’s another brilliant stitch invention from SharonB of Pin Tangle blog. She wouldn’t call it an invention; but I’ve never seen this before, have you? She worked a line of herringbone stitch; then she filled the gap at the base and top of each cross with needleweaving, creating the impression of a row of hearts. Gotta try this one! Thanks Denise for being so complimentary and supportive but I am sure others have thought of this variation too. I honestly believe there is not much you can do with a needle thread that others have not thought to do too. Stitchers just have to learn to think outside the square to discover all sorts of fun is to be had with a needle thread.
