Hand Embroidery Lucky Button Pattern

March 10, 2021 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

Ready for an easy hand embroidery pattern that is perfect for Saint Patrick’s Day?  This “Lucky” felt button design may be just the one you are looking for.   Coming to us from Adventures of a DIY Mom, this is a simple and quick project.  I don’t know about you, but sometimes that is just what I am looking for.

For the lettering she used the braided chain stitch.  If you are not familiar with that one, she has a link to a tutorial to help you out.  In addition to standard embroidery supplies like a hoop, thread, needle, and fabric, you will need felt shamrock buttons which should not be too hard to find.

We all need a little luck these days don’t we?  Why not bring some into your home with this design?  Or better yet, give a little luck to a friend, especially one that loves to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day.
