Polkadots & Blooms brings us this lovely tutorial on how to stitch a dandelion. The design is delicate and makes a nice pattern on its own or incorporated into another canvas.
To make your dandelion you will need standard embroidery making supplies. While there is no pattern for the design pictured, this article gives step by step instructions on how to make the flower. There are also plenty of photos and tips to help guide you through the process
It is such a delicate design that I can almost imagine that the stitching will blow away in the wind just like the real thing. I love the simple background and the colors the designer uses in her canvas.
