Here is a unique and fun embroidery project from Three Sheep Studio. Make a penny rug with your scraps of wool fabric.
I love the blacks and grays used in this design. The technique is quite simple. In the tutorial you will find instructions for cutting out the shapes and for stitching them to the background fabric.
You will need wool fabrics for this project, but you can also use felt if you prefer. It just may not hold up as well with wear.
The color combinations in a pattern like this are endless.
