As a mother I can tell you that I have a bin full of artwork that my child has done over the years. It’s hard for me to throw any of it out, even after many years. I also have to admit that a couple of drawings are my favorites. That is why I got so excited when I saw this tutorial from The Kim Six Fix. I immediately knew I would give it a try.
What a lovely way to preserve a special creation. You could make them for yourself or someone else special.
Surprisingly, it’s an easy process. There are only a few tools needed and they include a washable fabric marker, an embroidery needle, a hoop, and embroidery floss. The only other thing you need is a drawing from your child. That’s it, easy peasy!
The blogger shows off two sweet creations and all of the instructions are in a video tutorial that can be found in the article.
Any grandparent of family friend would love to get a gift like this.
