Colleen of CraftPad shares this idea for getting your little one started in stitching. She slipped a piece of loose-woven jute into a large embroidery hoop and gave it to her young daughter with some bright flosses, plastic embroidery needles, and a few instructions. Colleen says, “She loves being able to really ‘sew.'” And mom winds up with some darling wall art!
