Mini Hand Embroidered Pendant Tutorial

December 11, 2020 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

When I saw these hand embroidered pendants from Flamingo Toes I had to do a double take.  They are just about as cute as cute can be.  I can’t decide which of them I like best.  What sets these apart are the embroidery hoops (if you can call them that since they are so unique).  They are small and shaped a bit like houses. Adorable!

Depending on which design you decide to make (and they are all so lovely that you will probably want to make all of them) you will need to know some basic embroidery stitches including:

  • Back stitch
  • Satin stitch
  • Woven roses
  • French knots
  • Straight stitch
  • Lazy daisy

These are small pendants, with the largest one being 40mm x 25mm.

What a lovely gift one of these necklaces would make. The detail on them is exquisite and anyone would love to add one to their jewelry wardrobe. I know I would.  Along with the standard embroidery supplies, you will need the special embroidery hoops and a chain.  Luckily Bev, over on the blog, provides a link to where the unique hoops can be purchased.
