More about frenchcraftsonline

January 23, 2009 by Denise Felton 2 Comments

Back on January 7, I told you about Etsy seller frenchcraftsonline, which is offering traditional French medieval needlepoint printed canvases for amazing prices. I noted that, because I’ve never bought from this online shop, I couldn’t vouch for the quality of the canvases; but I thought their prices alone made them worth a look.

Since then, shop owner David has sent me this sample canvas, and I think it rocks. Needlepoint is not my specialty. (For example, I have no idea how to achieve those delicate eyebrows and lips.) But I can tell you that the canvas is sturdy and undistorted, the colors and lines are clear, and the design is beautiful.

David says he has added lots of floral canvases to his online shop because of their popularity in the USA. Drop by and give frenchcraftsonline a little love.

Thankyou for the update, I’ve been curious to buy from them but wanted to know more about quality and waited to see some feedback from their previous sales. Do they have another homepage other than etsy?

I contacted David after reading the review on the website. At first David was very nice. I ordered several canvases and paid in full (US$ 178) for these canvases in early Dec 2011. I have never received the canvases and despite my many requests for a refund, I have never received one. I am very, very disappointed with Frenchcraftonline.
