SharonB of Pin Tangle blog has a new treat for beginning stitchers. She says,
The Stitch Files…are printable template pages that people can download and use. These worksheets build into a resource file. Today I release the first set of templates for 3 basic stitches…I will release templates for 12 basic stitches over the next few weeks. That means there are another 9 freebie templates yet to come. Each file will contain 3 stitches.
Each worksheet identifies the stitch family, includes directions for the stitch, and provides space for you to attach your handworked sample, along with notes about the fabric, thread, and needle you used. Also included in each file are “eye-candy photos” of the stitch and space for extra samples or sketches.
Let me say this again: These worksheet files are free. Whoa! In the future, SharonB expects to put together modules of 15 to 20 more-complicated stitches, and she intends to price these modules very modestly. Get in on the ground floor: Grab the free download.
