Penny Nickels celebrated her inclusion in Jamie Chalmer’s PUSH Stitchery by sponsoring an embroidery contest. Entrants could submit one stitched work, which had to be accompanied by an essay explaining why their art is awesome. Entries were judged solely on originality. The winners were announced today: two grand-prize winners and two runners up. I chose Lord Libidan‘s entry to feature here because, you know, it’s freakin plastic canvas. And it’s a Transformer that really transforms. (I’m still faint from looking at it.) But the other winners rock my face off, too. Go to Penny’s Donkeywolf post to see them all.

Is there any way of getting the pattern and directions to the plastic canvas transformer by Lord Libidan? I would be the coolest Grammy in town if I could make this for my grandsons!
Thank you.
