Plastic Canvas Amigurumi Kittens Pattern

December 17, 2020 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

There are dog people, there are cat people, and there are people who love them all.  However, I think we can all agree that these little plastic canvas amigurumi kittens are just about as cute as they can be!  You can make them yourself with a pattern purchased from Annie’s Craft Shop.

Look closely at the photo and you will see that there are regular sized kittens which measure 3″ x 5″ and mini ones that measure 2″ x 3″.  The regular ones are made with 7 count plastic canvas and worsted-weight yarn whereas the mini ones are made using 10 count canvas and sport-weight yarn. The pattern is listed as an intermediate level.  This is a downloadable pattern, so it does not come with the supplies to make them.

Wouldn’t these be darling stocking stuffers, or maybe a gift for a young girl who loves kitty cats?  I love the idea of the little ball of yarn added to the photo.  When I had a cat, yarn was her favorite thing to play with.
