Punch Needle Foundation Fabrics Review

March 4, 2021 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

Punch needle is all the rage right now.  Just check out social media and you’ll see all sorts of beautiful projects.  If you are interested in taking up this fun hobby you will want to know a bit about it.  You will also want to start with the foundations and that means what fabric to use.  North Shore Crafts has an excellent article reviewing the different types of fabrics you can use.

Not only does this handy blog post go over five options for you, it gives pros and cons of each type.  Who knew you could use so many different types of foundations?

What I really appreciate about this article is how in depth it goes on each cloth.  That is incredibly helpful for people who are new to this craft.  It also gives those of you with more experience some new options to try.

The article has nice photo examples of each type, as well as links to videos demonstrating each of the cloths.

If you are interested in taking up punch needle, then this is a must-read article.
