Steal this idea: Stitched birthday card

Martha Stewart might have the most creative staff in the world. I love The Crafts Dept. blog, where Martha’s staffers post snippets about what’s going on in their world. For Martha’s birthday recently, the summer interns created handmade cards for the boss. All of the cards shown on the blog are wonderful; and my favorite (of course) is this embroidered greeting. As great as it looks here, there’s a clever surprise in the way the cardfront was designed. Go to the blog post for all the details. I’m definitely stealing this idea.
