Stick and Stitch Wiener Dogs Embroidery Pattern – Etsy Review

May 3, 2026 by Shellie Wilson Leave a Comment

This one is ridiculously cute, and as a dachshund fan, I can absolutely see the appeal. The Stick and Stitch Wiener Dogs pattern from HoopArtStitch is a hand embroidery product made from water-soluble stick-and-stitch stabilizer, not a machine embroidery file, so it is really aimed at stitchers who want an easy transfer option for hand stitching onto clothing, bags, or patches. The Etsy listing describes it as a peel and stick transfer patch and notes materials including fabric stabilizer and ink.

What makes this one stand out is the design set itself. The listing images show a pack of wiener dogs in little patterned sweaters, plus small paw print extras, which gives it a playful, personality-filled look rather than a single one-off motif. From the preview text on the images, it appears to be a 14-piece pack with the dachshund designs measuring about 2.5 x 1.5 inches and the paw prints around 0.75 x 0.75 inches.

I also like that this feels beginner-friendly in the practical sense. Stick-and-stitch patterns take away a lot of the annoying transfer fuss, which is often the part that makes people stall before they even start. You just place the design, stitch over it, and wash the stabilizer away. For little dog motifs like these, that makes a lot of sense, especially if you want to decorate a denim jacket, tote, sweatshirt, or make small stitched gifts without spending half the project muttering over tracing paper. The beginner-friendly angle here is an inference based on the stick-and-stitch format shown in the listing.

From the shop side, this one looks reassuring too. HoopArtStitch is marked as a Star Seller on Etsy, which means Etsy says the shop has a strong record for customer experience, dispatch times, and message response. The shop is also showing a 5 out of 5 star rating, and the listing page includes recent buyer feedback saying the item was “exactly as pictured and super cute,” while another buyer called it “great quality” and praised the seller’s helpfulness.
