For your enjoyment (and friendly theft), here are a few especially beautiful stitch combinations by SharonB featured recently on her Pin Tangle blog. She says,
(1) “The foundation row of this line of stitching is herringbone which I then laced. Tucked into the ‘V’ shape are 3 detached chain stitches. I stitched a bead at the base of each cluster.” See the post.
(2) “This seam … has been covered with a braid then I added French knots, straight stitches and detached chain stitches.” See the post.
(3) “This motif is made up of detached chain stitches, feather stitch, and fly stitch. Seed beads are used in the middle of flower. The scallops along the base are chain stitch.” See the post.
