I generally have a bah-humbug attitude toward dressing up for Halloween. However, this mask from Urban Threads is so gorgeous, it makes even me want to jump into a costume! The UT e-newsletter says,
A bold, romantic freestanding lace mask, inspired by Dia de los Muertos skully face-painting. It’s our first foray into multi-colored lace, which works pretty much like regular freestanding lace, except you change the top *and* bobbin thread partway through. Tie it on with ribbons, or starch it, attach it to a stick, and embellish with flowers, feathers, and more to your heart’s content. Get the how-to right here!
