Remember the lovely hooked embroidery Zeshuregi shared with us? She has posted a tutorial so we can understand the technique and, perhaps, attempt it ourselves. This style of embroidery seems like a cross between stitching and crochet. I have some nearly microscopic crochet hooks that my mother used when I was a child, and they should work perfectly. I’ve got to try my hand at this! See more on Zeshuregi’s Creative Mind blog.

I am searching for an old craft i learned in girl Scouts. It took a special kind of towel with small dashes across the whole piece. Using those you would hook embroidery thread through the dashes to create a geometrical pattern or such. Has anyone heard of this or knows of this? I have a “hook towel” but don’t remember the skill.
Thanks for any help with this.
