Tutorial: Needlebook

March 30, 2010 by Denise Felton Leave a Comment

Urban Threads treats us to a tutorial for a fun and practical project: an aged-looking hand-stitched needlebook. The UT e-newsletter says,

This one’s quick and easy, we promise. Coffee-staining makes the fabric look like it’s been hanging out in the stacks for a few centuries, and a hand-stitched book binding gives the spine some old-timey flair. Little Red Riding Hood makes a fantastic cover, but if you want to reference Alice, Shakespeare, or somebody else, go right ahead!
