Sometimes a few words is all you need to express a feeling. That is why this lovely hand embroidery pattern from Bev over on Flamingo Toes is so special. Those three simple words mean so much and they will to whomever you make this project for.
This is not a difficult project, and not only does the tutorial provide the pattern, it has step-by-step instructions regarding the stitches. You will need a 7″ hoop and other standard hand embroidery supplies. Bev did her project on linen. She also provides a list of all of the floss colors she used so you can duplicate her look.
You will need to be familiar with some standard hand embroidery stitches. They include french knots, the back stitch, the lazy daisy, and the satin stitch. She even provides tips on finishing the project and ideas for how to use it.
I love the colors she used. They remind me of a summer bouquet that I picked my mother once, many years ago.
