Free Plastic Canvas Shamrock Magnet Tutorial

March 1, 2021 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

Looking for a little Saint Patrick’s Day gift to make your Irish friend who has everything?  Then look no further than this adorable shamrock magnet from Craft a Happy Home.  This little guy has googly eyes and even a fancy bow tie.

Little makes like these are always fun.  They don’t take much time to sew, are usually easy, and look cute.

For this lucky shamrock you will need #7 count plastic canvas, a #16 plastic canvas needle, green yarn, gold cord, a hot glue gun, and a magnet.  The tutorial has easy to follow instructions that show you how to cut out the shape and what stitches to use.

This is an easy project and if you prefer not to have the eyes, just leave them off.  You could also easily turn this into a plant poke or little charm.

Sometime a small and easy project is just what I am looking for, and this shamrock is something I will definitely be trying.
