Perfect for those warmer months, or all year around if displayed inside, this plastic canvas windsock would look lovely anywhere. This tutorial from Strings Away! shows you how to make it.
This is a beginner project so anyone can give it a try. You will need standard plastic canvas supplies including, 7-count plastic canvas, yarn, and a needle. In addition you will need some specialty supplies so that your windsock will spin in the wind.
The tutorial provides a detailed stitch chart and, if you are hoping to replicate the look, a color key.
Wouldn’t this be pretty on a covered porch or perhaps a child’s room? I like the soft colors used in the windsock in the article and think it would make a nice little gift for someone too.
