I love the movie Pretty in Pink. A few things though…I would have stayed with Ducky, I would have never ruined that dress and I so wanted to be Molly Ringwald when I was a teenager. This free pattern from Shirley at Hudson’s Holiday reminded me that I needed to watch that movie again. Her adorable embroidery pattern is way cuter than the dress in the movie and plus, it has a sassy little flower in the pocket.¬†

You don’t have to stick strictly to pink for this pattern, let your imagination run wild. Create new colors or maybe embroider a ¬†little doodle design on the dress. It would look great in a a sewing room or a little girl’s room.

You can find the pattern HERE as well as one of the best Barbie stories ever.
