Multitalented crafter Anne Weaver (casserole on Etsy) often calls on her 4-year-old daughter, Olivia, for design input. Olivia’s fresh perspective and naive optimism produce innovations, Anne says, that probably wouldn’t otherwise occur to an experienced crafter.

Olivia has complete faith in her mom’s ability to execute her ideas, so last weekend she suggested that they work together to make a stuffed animal. Anne not only threw herself into Livvie’s project, but also ended up documenting the whole exercise on her blog.

Take a look a look at the tutorial, and share a laugh or two with Anne and Olivia. And think about designing an adorable, completely original softie with your little one.
